About Us
Made up of engineering students from various backgrounds and experience levels, Telecom Robotics is Telecom Paris school's association dedicated to promoting robotics and sharing knowledge in this field, while having fun. From image processing to algorithmic optimization, embedded software, electronics, and many other fields, there's something for everyone!
Our Projects
One of the main objectives of the association is to represent Telecom Paris at the French Robotics Cup. We also work on local projects such as an arcade machine and a robotics competition within the school. Finally, we organize events to let people experience the joy of robotics - Repair Cafés, conferences, and introductory courses in electronic or mechanical design.
French Robotics Cup
The Event
It's a major robotics event that brings together schools, young enthusiasts, and companies around a single competition.
The Challenge
Participating teams prepare by building fully autonomous robots, then have them compete in technical duels to score points. Each year, the rules change to bring diversity and force teams to constantly renew their robots and surpass themselves.
2023 Achievement
We participated in the 2023 French Robotics Cup for the first time since 2019, with a brand new robot entirely designed and built by us. Despite considerable delay in our robot's design, we were approved and competed in a match, scoring 25 points - not bad for a first try!
